Job Description
We are seeking a Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Sheppard Pratt's Adult Day Hospital in Baltimore/Washington Campus. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field, and 2-3 years of relevant experience. The role involves facilitating psychoeducational groups, collecting data, and providing direct patient care services in accordance with the treatment plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Ability to read and follow up on documentation in the patient's record
- Basic computer usage skills
- Interpersonal skills sufficient to establish therapeutic relationships with emotionally disturbed patients
- Ability to physically intervene in medical and behavioral emergencies, transport patients, and lift patients
