Hardware Engineer

Shift5 is a rapidly growing scale-up that specializes in cybersecurity, predictive maintenance, and compliance for operational technology (OT) systems. We are a collaborative and passionate team focused on helping our customers' fleets run smarter and safer by accessing and democratizing onboard OT data. We're seeking a Hardware Engineer to join our Intake product team, responsible for creating the hardware configuration of our products.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience designing circuit boards (experience with PCB design and layout highly preferred)
• Experience with FPGA design
• Experience with Electrical CAD software packages (Altium preferred)
• Experience with test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, and others)
• Knowledge of manufacturing/production processes and AS9100/ISO9001
• Knowledge of MIL, DO, and IPC standards is a plus
• Self-motivated with strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
