Job Description
Shimmick is seeking a Lead Estimator to compile, review, analyze, and quote project materials, labor, equipment, data, and environmental factors. This role involves estimating for various projects, forecasting costs, and providing mentorship to the estimating department. The position offers long-term growth opportunity within a dynamic infrastructure building.
Requirements
- Prepares technical evaluations, cost estimating draft reports, memos, and letters.
- Develops, provides, and communicates cost estimates.
- Reviews and interprets project drawings and specifications.
- Develops detailed material take-offs.
- Provides mentoring and coaching within the estimating department.
