Job Description
Shive-Hattery is seeking a motivated Construction Administrator to join their Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, or West Des Moines office location. The role involves serving as the design team's on-site liaison, ensuring that construction activities align with design intent and quality standards. It also involves monitoring progress, facilitating communication, and resolving field issues.
Requirements
- Background in Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in construction administration or site observation
- Understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction processes
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Newforma, Procore, Bluebeam)
- Ability to travel to job sites and work in a field environment
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
