Job Description
The company is seeking a Senior Machinist to lead and mentor machinists on the shop floor, focusing on setup, troubleshooting, tooling optimization, and quality control. This role involves supporting prototype and low-volume production in aerospace and defense industries, with a commitment to AS9100 certification and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in CNC machining with strong setup and troubleshooting skills
- Proficient in blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation
- Experience with Mastercam, ProShop ERP, and mechanical inspection tools
- Solid knowledge of machining strategies, tooling, and material behaviors
- Strong communication skills and a natural leadership presence
- Familiarity with AS9100 procedures and documentation
- Reliable, self-motivated, and focused on quality and continuous improvement
