Pediatric Burn Surgeon

Shriners Children’s is seeking a Pediatric Burn Surgeon to join their team at Shriners Children’s Northern California. This role involves all aspects of burn care in the Burn Department, including clinical, educational, and research opportunities. The position is a full-time, 1.0 FTE commitment with Monday-Friday schedule. The organization is a rapidly growing center with a focus on innovative research and patient care.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an ACGME accredited residency in General or Plastic Surgery
• Completion of fellowship training in burn surgery and/or pediatric surgery
• Board certification or eligibility in general surgery, plastic surgery, or pediatric surgery
• Active medical license and DEA
• Knowledge of pediatric burn pathophysiology, wound healing, surgical reconstruction, and critical care principles
