Job Description
Shriners Children’s Northern California is seeking a full-time Pediatric Hand Surgeon to join their team. The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in orthopedic surgery and have experience in hand & upper extremity surgery, with a focus on pediatric patients, particularly those with brachial plexus birth injuries. The role involves both inpatient and outpatient care, research, and teaching, within a supportive and innovative environment.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board certification/eligibility in orthopedic surgery (ABOS or subspecialty certification)
- ACGME accredited orthopedic surgery residency program completion
- California state medical license
- Experience treating pediatric hand patients
- Experience treating brachial plexus birth injuries
