Job Description
Shriners Children’s is seeking a part-time Night Shift Pediatric Nurse, PICU RN, to provide emergency intensive care to critically ill pediatric patients. The role involves cross-training in the PACU and providing continuity of care from initial arrival to discharge, supporting both the patient and their families. The position offers a unique opportunity to witness children's growth and development.
Requirements
- Assesses comprehensive data (physical, psychosocial, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual needs)
- Implements the nursing plan of care in partnership with the team
- Utilizes teaching strategies to meet individual patient needs
- Evaluates patient/family understanding of the plan of care
