Licensed Psychologist

Shrub Oak International School is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to work collaboratively with education, clinical, and residential staff to develop plans and strategies to improve students' academic performance, mental health, and social development. The Psychologist will conduct comprehensive assessments, design and develop treatment plans, and provide expertise in behavioral science and mental health-related services.

Requirements

• Master's in clinical psychology, school psychology, or related psychological field required, PhD or PsyD preferred
• An active New York State License is preferred in good professional standing. License-eligible applicants may be considered
• At least 2 years' experience in conducting psychological assessments, evaluations, and interventions required; 3 or more years preferred
• Experience working with students on the autism spectrum or with developmental disabilities is required
• Experience supervising/training staff and designing training programs is preferred
• Experience proactively identifying appropriate developmental or training programs for students, designing the content, and delivering or coordinating the implementation preferred
