Job Description
ShyftLabs is a rapidly growing data product company seeking a Financial Controller to own and manage their finance function. The role involves building financial systems, forecasting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with local regulations across various entities, including Canada, U.S., and India. This is a full-time hybrid role within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or controllership.
- CPA designation (or international equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Experience working with multi-entity structures (Canada, U.S., and/or international subsidiaries).
- Strong background in financial reporting, forecasting, and project-based accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting and finance tools (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to build processes from scratch.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
