Regulatory Accounting Manager

Sidecar Health is seeking a Regulatory Accounting Manager to join their finance team and ensure regulatory compliance for insurance entities. This role involves preparing and submitting regulatory filings, managing statutory accounting, and maintaining internal controls. Requirements

• Prepare statutory basis financial statements and regulatory filings.
• Oversee Medical Loss Ratio (MLR) filings and rebate calculations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and respond to requests.
• Maintain knowledge of multi-state insurance regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and file federal and state income tax returns.
• Manage risk-based capital calculations and regulatory capital adequacy reporting.
• Maintain internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).
• Support SOC 1 and SOC 2 compliance activities.
