Job Description
Sierra Lobo is seeking an Opto-Mechanical Engineer for their Pasadena office. The role involves designing, analyzing, testing, and fabricating spaceflight imaging instruments for various customers, including the DoD, U.S. Air Force, and NASA. The company supports JPL and commercial aerospace customers.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- 0-5 years of industry experience.
- Experience using Siemens NX CAD tool.
- Experience with mechanical drawing generation using GD&T principles.
- Experience performing detailed structural analysis.
- Familiarity with optical design tools (Zemax or FRED a plus).
