Job Description
Sight & Sound is looking for a Seamstress/Stitcher to construct costumes for their theatre productions, conduct seasonal fittings and alterations, and work as part of a team to achieve high quality and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in general garment construction
- Experience as stitcher in a theater setting, bridalwear alterations or general garment construction
- Ability to adapt skillset to Sight and Sound's unique construction process
- Good understanding of garment and costume construction mechanics
- Keen eye for precision and detail in garment finishing
- Experience with creating garments from spec sheets (desirable)
- High volume garment manufacturing or large costume builds (desirable)
