Job Description
The Director, Nursing Services is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for all nursing and patient care services within the hospital. The role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in line with clinical governance standards, regulatory requirements, and the hospitals strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing)
- Valid Registered Nurse/Midwife (RN/RM) certification and current practicing licence
- Masters degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or a related field is an added advantage
- Certification in healthcare leadership, management, or patient safety is desirable
- Minimum of 10 years professional nursing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior nursing leadership or nursing management role, preferably within a tertiary healthcare setting
- Proven track record of leading nursing teams, managing nursing operations, and implementing clinical and operational standards
- Experience working in facilities pursuing or maintaining international healthcare accreditation (e.g., JCI) is an added advantage
