Senior Accountant (Audit Non-Profit)

Sikich is seeking a Senior Accountant (Audit Non-Profit) to work closely with engagement leaders and other staff to ensure the efficient and timely completion of financial statement audits. The role involves providing superior service to external clients and internal stakeholders, supervising and reviewing intern or staff work, and conducting audit tests to support professional opinions on client financial statements.

Requirements

• BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of progressive public accounting background with in-charge experience
• 2+ years of non-profit experience
• Strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP and GAAS
• Ability to manage multiple engagement and competing priorities
• Strong leadership, recruiting, training, and mentoring skills
• CPA certification or eligibility to sit
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and audit preparation software
