Maintenance Supervisor

Silgan Containers is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor in Napoleon, OH, to lead maintenance operations in our high-speed manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for overseeing the repair and upkeep of all manufacturing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a technical trade field, High School diploma, or GED
• At least 1 year of experience directly supervising a team
• Strong background in industrial maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, or hydraulics and pneumatics
• Basic understanding of PLC familiarity
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and perform under pressure in an industrial environment
• Proficiency in maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
