Job Description
The Principal Applications Engineer will play a key role in enabling customer success with our advanced Physical AI System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in embedded software with a strong understanding of Edge AI workloads and system integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in applications engineering, embedded systems engineering, or solutions engineering within a semiconductor or embedded systems environment.
- 2+ years of experience in robotic automation or industrial controls.
- Strong proficiency with embedded software development (e.g., embedded Linux, RTOS environments, firmware, drivers).
- Experience with AI/ML model deployment, runtime optimizations, or AI acceleration frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience interfacing with customers in a technical capacity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
