Job Description
The Business Banker I is focused on acquiring, growing, and retaining a large client base of key business relationships, along with referring the bank’s other business lines utilizing a strategic business development plan for the market.
Requirements
- Strategic focus on small and mid-size commercial client activity through relational selling as a trusted advisor role
- Establishes and negotiates the terms under which commercial credit will be extended
- Reviews and analyzes financial information to determine a customer’s creditworthiness
- Responsible for the profitability of all commercial relationships within the portfolio
- Actively refers other bank products
- Become active in the community through membership in business organizations, community events and/or non-profit organizations
