Job Description
The Community Banker II is responsible for acquiring, growing, and retaining commercial and residential loans, as well as cross-selling other business lines in community markets. The position requires a deep understanding of credits and the ability to make credit decisions. The Community Banker II must also be able to effectively communicate and negotiate with customers and colleagues.
Requirements
- Sell prospects and customers through relational selling
- Establish and negotiate the terms of commercial credit
- Review and analyze financial information to determine creditworthiness
- Monitor loan repayment activities and collection of past due accounts
- Adhere to loan policies and procedures
- Communicate and negotiate with customers
- Become active in the community through business organizations and events
