Job Description
This part-time Recreation Therapist position is available in the Beaumont, TX area. The role focuses on providing high-quality home and community services to Veterans with neurological, physical, or traumatic brain injuries. Therapists will support client care plans, educate clients and families, and maintain accurate documentation. Teamwork with Case Managers and Family members is required.
Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelors Degree required in Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation Administration with emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation, Leisure Studies with emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation, and/or related degree.
- Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) certification.
- Experience with physical and cognitive impairments/disabilities
- Experience with traumatic brain injury
- Veteran/Military Experience
