Consulting Engineer, Marine/Waterfront Civil/Structural

Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) is a national engineering firm seeking a Consulting Engineer, Marine/Waterfront Civil/Structural to join their Houston, TX office. The ideal candidate will provide consulting services to inspect, evaluate, analyze, and design various marine and waterfront structures, facilities, and infrastructure.

Requirements

• M.S. degree in Civil, Structural, Coastal, or Ocean Engineering required
• 4+ years of experience in waterfront/marine/port/ocean engineering
• Registered professional engineer in the United States, or ability to obtain within 12 months of joining SGH
• Excellent written, oral and verbal communication skills
• Ability to solve minor or complex problems using data, logic, and judgment
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
