Job Description
SimVentions is a 100% employee-owned business seeking a System Administrator to maintain servers for compliance with Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). This role requires out-of-the-box thinking and experience in troubleshooting and patching servers, while performing install, patch, upgrade, and troubleshooting activities in both the traditional IT infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The position is located at NAVAIR Station Pax River in St. Mary's County, MD and requires daily on-site presence.
Requirements
- At least five years of hands-on experience working within UNIX/Linux and Windows environments
- Experience in DoD Information Assurance/Cyber policy and procedures
- Experience with Linux Server to include build, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Experience with UNIX/Linux, Red Hat, CentOS (Linux)
- BS in a technical field
