The Asian Thoracic Oncology Research Group (ATORG) is transitioning from a study network into a fully professionalised regional oncology society. A Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships with global experience in scientific society operations is required to lead high-level partnerships, governance development, scientific collaboration frameworks, and long-term organisational professionalisation for ATORG across Asia.
Requirements
- Degree in life sciences with at least 8 years of relevant experience in scientific society management/healthcare/pharmaceutical/CRO companies
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in scientific society management, strategic partnerships, or global medical/academic organisations
- Deep understanding of society governance, sponsorship models, and scientific program structures
- Experience with international scientific conferences or multi-country societies
- Experience establishing new membership, governance, or partnership systems
- Proven experience managing high-level partnerships and international collaborations
- Working knowledge of the oncology landscape in the region will be an advantage
- Business development experience will be an advantage
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills
- Able to assess situations independently and recommend solutions
- Able to handle multiple priorities independently
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
