Job Description
Our company is a leader in data storage, offering SingleStore DB. This role focuses on database performance engineering for customers, involving deep dives into the optimizer, troubleshooting performance issues, and building solutions to improve database execution speed. It's a customer-facing role within the Support Engineering department, working directly with customers to improve their database performance.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a DBA or hands-on database work
- Deep expertise in relational/distributed database implementation
- Strong background in general product troubleshooting
- Solid Linux performance background
- Experience with a scripting or coding language (C++, Python, Go, Bash)
- Familiarity with distributed systems and AWS/GCP
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
