Algorithm Engineer - Video Tracking & Sensor Fusion (m/f/d)

smartmicro is seeking an Algorithm Engineer to develop image processing and tracking software for automotive and traffic radar sensor technology. The role involves developing image processing, deep learning-based object detection, and video tracking algorithms, collaborating with radar tracking experts, and interacting with customer R&D teams. The company aims to advance autonomous driving and intelligent traffic infrastructure.

Requirements

• Complete Master in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• Experience in at least two of the following fields: image processing using e.g. openCV, deep learning or video-based object tracking using Bayesian filtering
• Proficient in C/C++ as well as Python
• Experience in programming for target platforms including ISPs (Image Signal Processors) using for example CUDA is beneficial
• Innovative and motivated with a focus on the final product
