Job Description
Headquartered in Tokyo, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) is a leading global financial institution and a core member of Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group (SMBC Group). We are seeking an AVP, Financial Accounting to join our team in Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accounting, statutory, regulatory, tax, financial and management tasks of the Financial Accounting Department (FAD).
Requirements
- Responsible for the preparation and timely submission of all reports to management, regulators and related stakeholders.
- Prepare all reports with accuracy, adhering to related Bank's policy, BNM guidelines, accounting standards and related requirements.
- Maintain the confidentiality of Bank and customer information.
