The Process Technician II will perform aseptic processing of biologic products, following FDA and Smith and Nephew Standard Operating Procedures. The candidate should have a commitment to high standards of quality.
Requirements
- Follow batch production records (BPRs) and SOPs to manufacture Biologic products
- Prepare and in-process test of all media, reagents, substrates for testing, and sanitizing agents used in manufacturing areas
- Assist in preparation of documentation as applicable to the scope of operations in the manufacturing facility
- Identify areas for improvement in manufacturing efficiencies and compliance and assist with projects
- Assist with technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing environment
- Perform cleaning and preparation of all equipment necessary for the daily manufacturing of products
- Assist and partake in championship of 5S program
- Maintain appropriate inventories of supplies within the production area
- Become an expert in multiple processes across the plant
- Perform housekeeping and general upkeep throughout the production area as required
- Work with Manufacturing Supervisors to prioritize and coordinate supplementary manufacturing duties
- Assist with Manufacturing Technician Training
- Participate in Manufacturing Mentor Program
