Job Description
Smoking Gun Interactive is seeking a talented and driven Senior Programmer to join their game development team. The role involves full-stack development using Unreal Engine 5, mentorship of junior programmers, and contributing to all aspects of the development process. The position is fully remote, with preference for candidates located within the greater Vancouver area. The company is a leading game development studio.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience as a programmer in the game industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- Passion for playing and creating innovative games
- 3+ years’ experience using Unreal Engine 4 or 5
- Shipped at least one game as a senior or lead programmer
- Expert working knowledge of C++, Standard Library and Object-Oriented Design
- Strong understanding of general and 3D math, statistics and probability
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
