Rust Backend Engineer (Ibadan Nigeria)

We're a bootstrapped, product-led startup building a lightweight, fast, and beautiful app that helps agencies, lawyers, and freelancers bill their clients accurately. We're looking for a Rust Backend Engineer to build our high-performance, memory-safe API using Rust.

Requirements

• Professional or significant personal project experience in Rust
• Understanding of Rust's key concepts: ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, and traits
• Experience building asynchronous applications in Rust, ideally with tokio
• Product-minded engineer who can take an idea, architect a solution, and build it, from the database to the API endpoint
• Cares about reliability and believes in the compiler
