Principal Structural Engineer

We are seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to work in our Galway office, responsible for leading multidisciplinary design teams, preparing project reports, and managing design budgets.

Requirements

• Acting as a Lead Structural Engineer as part of Multidisciplinary Design Teams
• Design input and oversight of the delivery of all Structural aspects of projects
• Preparation of project reports with ability to communicate complex technical matters
• Communication of design intent via PowerPoint presentations
• Preparation of fee proposals and site specific quality submissions for design contracts
• Communication with internal and external parties via email
• Oversight of preparation of design drawings
• Preparation of design calculations for internal and external review
• Undertaking duties of Ancillary Certifier for the C&S discipline
• Financial management of design budgets
• Supervising and mentoring other structural engineers
