Job Description
Snowflake is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the CPE Performance team in Berlin. This team builds systems to measure, model, and optimize the performance of Snowflake's distributed infrastructure, spanning compute and storage. The role involves guiding a team on performance engineering frameworks, validating new hardware, and ensuring efficient scaling across cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
- 2+ years managing engineers
- Deep understanding of how modern cloud hardware affects system performance
- Experience with performance analysis tools and scalable monitoring frameworks
