Job Description
Embedded Software Engineer role at the SEI, developing software prototypes and research methods for software resilience, with a focus on collaboration and delivering timely and high-quality results.
Requirements
- BS with 8 years of experience, an MS with 5 years of experience, or a PhD with 2 years of experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in a collaborative team environment as a software developer, software engineer, or verification engineer
- Understanding of the DoD Systems Engineering lifecycle
- Proficiency in C and C++, Python, MATLAB, C#, or JAVA
- Experience with modern RTOSs, such as VxWorks and Integrity, and developed and analyzed embedded software
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain and maintain an active Department of Defense security clearance
- Willingness to travel (25%) outside the office location
