Aerostructure Airframe Designer

The Aerostructure Airframe Designer focuses on the design, integration, and modification of aircraft primary and secondary structures to support mission-critical conversions. They develop detailed design solutions, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure all airframe modifications meet relevant standards. The role involves detailed structural analyses and ensuring design integrity, while adhering to customer specifications and certification requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
• 8–10+ years of experience in airframe design for commercial or military aircraft.
• 15,000–20,000 hours of CATIA (V5 or V6) experience.
• Strong understanding of aircraft primary structures and load paths.
• Proven ability to design and integrate missionized systems.
• Familiarity with aircraft certification standards.
• Excellent knowledge of GD&T, configuration management, and PLM environments.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
