Job Description
The Materials and Processes Specialist will provide expertise to resolve non-conformity issues, develop and validate test plans, and participate in the analysis and implementation of engineering documentation changes. The incumbent will also support redesign activities, investigate new environmental regulations, and collaborate on new projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in mechanical engineering or aeronautical engineering (or equivalent)
- Equivalent experience of 5 to 10 years in similar functions and in aeronautics
- Good knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes used in aeronautics, especially at the assembly and fastening level
- Familiar with metal structure repairs, non-destructive testing, material compatibility, and surface protection (coatings and sealants)
- Knowledge of aircraft configuration management rules
- Knowledge of ASTM, ISO, SAE standards and regulations related to the aerospace industry
- Bilingual French/English
