This role involves stress analysis of aircraft structures, including hand calculations, using software tools like Patran and Hypermesh. The engineer will extract loads, stresses, and materials from drawings, create FEM models, and prepare stress certification dossiers, ACD4, and ACD6. Experience with aerospace OEM/suppliers and structural design principles is essential.
Requirements
- B.E / M.E. in Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering
- 6-9 years of experience in static analysis
- Graduate/Post Graduate Engineer in Aerospace Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
- Experience working with Aerospace OEMs/Tier/Suppliers
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in leading a team
- Proficiency in the use of tools like Patran/Nastran, Hypermesh, and ISAMI
- Strong understanding of structural design and aircraft loads
- Experience in static, fatigue and damage tolerance analysis
- Experience in designing and sizing aircraft primary structure components
- Excellent analytical and reasoning skills
