The role focuses on identifying high-value opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and closing major deals in large scale solar, rooftop solar, battery energy storage (BESS), and clean energy solutions.
Requirements
- Lead business development initiatives for large-scale renewable energy projects
- Develop new business opportunity to support the business functional unit
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for key sectors
- Identify, qualify, and pursue high-value opportunities
- Prepare business cases, feasibility studies, and financial models
- Build and manage long-term relationships with key account customers
- Act as the primary contact point for high-profile clients
- Represent the company in negotiations, industry events and association engagements
- Drive the full sales cycle for large and complex opportunities
- Develop new business with cross selling and upselling techniques
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets
- Develop structured proposals, bids, and tender submissions
- Work with internal teams to structure solutions that meet client needs
- Provide market insights and competitor intelligence
- Mentor and support junior business development executives
