Operation & Maintenance Technician (Kerian)

The Operation & Maintenance Technician will be responsible for all electrical systems and civil works in a solar PV plant, ensuring compliance to regulations and enhancing system health. This role involves routine inspections, maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and report writing to warranty claims and vendors. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required.

Requirements

• 1 year of working experience in an environment involving operation and controlling low voltage electrical equipment
• Knowledge and skills in wiring for LV installation
• Extensive knowledge on electrical theory and troubleshooting skills
• Good in computer literate
• Valid Chargeman A0/A1 certificate from Energy Commission (ST) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Good in Bahasa Malaysia and English (verbally as well as written)
• Physically and mentally strong and fit
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays if required
• Must be able to base in Batu Gajah, Kerian or Penang
