Senior Project Engineer - BESS

Solarvest is seeking an electrical-focused Battery Engineer to develop and deploy grid-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The role involves electrical design, commissioning, and performance management, ensuring BESS integration with solar PV plants and grid support. Technical expertise in grid codes, IEC standards, and international norms is key.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or Renewable Energy Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in grid-scale BESS, solar PV, or power systems engineering.
• Hands-on experience with PCS (Sungrow, SMA, Tesla), MV switchgear, and protection relays.
• Proven track record in BESS commissioning and grid interconnection.
• Experience in renewable energy EPC/projects is highly advantageous.
