Job Description
Solid Power is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer II to revolutionize the battery industry with next-generation, all solid-state rechargeable batteries. The role involves designing, developing, and supervising all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery, along with ensuring PLC program upkeep. This requires independent problem-solving and collaboration with other engineers.
Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- 10+ years of related industry experience.
- Expertise in Allen Bradley PLC programming (Studio5000 Logix Designer, View Designer, FT View Studio).
- Experience with NFPA 70 and Electrical Classification (C1D1, C1D2, C2D1, and C2D2)
- Ability to independently troubleshoot equipment for improvement.
- Experience with maintaining Asset Centre and Ignition/Siemens
