Job Description
Solution One Industries is seeking a Medical Materiel Specialist to support the Navy Medical Readiness Logistic Command's (NMRLC) Expeditionary Medical System (EXMED) mission. The successful candidate will have outstanding skills and be committed to working with others to deliver best-in-class customer service and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Be proficient in the use of the DMLSS, HIMS or other authorized database of record for routine processes.
- Provide warehouse support pertaining to warehouse logistics.
- Perform inventory and documentation of supply stock utilizing DMLSS or other military database of record.
- Review, stock, and re-supply medical logistics items.
- Perform quality control on transaction records and file documents appropriately and promptly.
- Research quality assurance messages utilizing DMLSS, or other military database of record.
- Review a wide variety of documents to ensure that the proper information has been included.
- Obtain missing information from supporting documents, supervisor, or specialist/analyst and resolve inconsistencies or discrepancies, deviations from general rules, or major omissions.
- Performs receiving duties to include but not limited to receiving, unloading, and processing incoming shipments.
- Performs inventory control work, supporting a broad range of duties required to accomplish the mission of a large production, sustainment, and distribution center.
- Performs platform stowing of material.
- Performs Pick, Pack, Preserve, and Crate (PPP&C).
- Performs administrative and duties such as word processing; receipt and completeness of data; correcting errors, modifying as required, and transmission of electronic mail; storing, retrieving, and maintaining electronic documents or files; entering data into a predefined spreadsheet or database.
