Job Description
Sonalake is a software partnering company helping clients develop their products. They are seeking a Backend Engineer (Java) to join their engineering teams, focusing on creating robust server-side applications. The role involves contributing to innovation, product development, and collaboration within a collaborative, remote-first environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
- Experience with Java, Kotlin, Spring, Quarkus, Micronaut, Hibernate, JPA, and logging frameworks
- Experience with Jenkins, Docker, Git, and Linux
- Experience designing for and working with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with teams that have shipped and operated critical software systems
- Strong communication skills (written and spoken in English)
- Autonomy and responsibility within a knowledge sharing culture
