Job Description
Provide timely, accurate and actionable data to ensure successful business decision-making. Gather requirements from business users, determine the best reporting solution, design, build and deploy reports and dashboards using a variety of front end visualization tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field of study.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a business intelligence database developer or related field.
- Experience with the Microsoft BI Stack (SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS & SSAS) required.
- Expert with SQL and with ability to write complex SQL queries.
- Strong knowledge of relational and multi-dimensional database architectures.
- Extensive knowledge of query optimization and performance tuning techniques.
- Ability to understand business processes.
- Advanced knowledge of a manufacturing environment is preferred, including supply chain systems, sourcing, logistics and finance.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is preferred.
- Excellent skills in interpersonal relationships, communication and teamwork.
- Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
- Work independently and possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
- Effectively prioritize and follow through on assignments and projects.
