Manufacturing Manager, Solutions - The Orchard

The Orchard is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to join our dynamic Solutions team in the UK. The Manufacturing Manager will oversee the production process from initial concept to final product delivery, ensuring seamless operation and adherence to deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements

• Production and scheduling: Develop and maintain transparent production schedule, ensuring all deadlines are adhered to and timely delivery of all Orchard manufactured product to our warehousing and fulfillment partners.
• Manufacturer and supplier liaison: Coordinate with brokers, manufacturers and other suppliers to fulfill all mastering, replication and print requirements.
• Project coordination: Collaborate with internal teams including but not limited to Solutions Managers and Relationship Managers, as well as Orchard clients and external partners to ensure smooth execution of projects.
• Budget and cost management: Ensure production is cost-effective and meets budgetary targets. Coordinate quotes and negotiate costs for all Orchard manufacturing.
• Quality control: Oversee the approval of test pressings and design work, including artwork and packaging proofs, and monitor production processes to ensure quality standards of finished product delivery.
• Troubleshoot any issues or concerns from our clients and work with our suppliers with a solution focused mindset to create positive outcomes in all scenarios.
• Asset management: manage and archive all audio and artwork assets.
• Process improvement: Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and execution.
• Advise and remind internal and external stakeholders on manufacturing best practices, be a constant and reliable source of knowledge and truth at The Orchard and for our clients.
