Job Description
Performs mechanical work associated with the repair and maintenance of water control structures, as well as field station buildings and facilities. Utilizes hand tools, power tools, and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Must be able to read and follow job specifications, blueprints, and diagrams.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years’ experience in structure and facility maintenance or mechanical repair
- Valid State of Florida Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Ability to obtain certification in Rigging, Forklift Operations, First Response-Oil and Chemical Spills, CPR and First Aid
- Ability to obtain pump station assistant status within 6 months
