South Post Oak Recycling Center is a family owned and operated business seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to efficiently operate equipment for the metal recycling center.
Requirements
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Continuously drive to improve self, shop, team, and equipment
- Good housekeeping skills
- High School Diploma
- 3+ years proven experience as an equipment maintenance technician
- Class B or C license to drive roll off trucks to maintenance shops as needed
- Knowledge of local recycling regulations, waste management practices, and industry standards
- Thorough knowledge of safety protocols
- Exceptional communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Flexibility to work variable shifts
- Capability to lift and transport heavy objects
- Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, maintenance certifications)
