Job Description
Southern Home Services is seeking a Licensed Service Plumber to join a thriving business that believes in work life balance and cares about YOU! As a Licensed Service Plumber, you will diagnose and repair complex plumbing issues, install and connect systems and appliances, and ensure all work meets local codes and regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial systems.
- Active and valid Journeyman Plumbing License.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications.
- Expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing water, gas, and sewage systems.
- Familiarity with local and state plumbing codes and regulations.
- Experience with various tools and equipment, such as pipe cutters, threaders, and soldering tools.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose complex plumbing issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, team members, and supervisors.
- Safety-Oriented: In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Customer Service: Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service, with a focus on professionalism and customer satisfaction.
- Technology Skills: Basic knowledge of mobile apps and work management software to track tasks and report on job progress.
- Leadership & Teamwork: Ability to lead apprentices, work well within a team, and coordinate with other trades on larger projects.
- Driver’s License: 3-year valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
