Director of Patient Financial Services

Southern Medical Recruiters is seeking a Director of Patient Financial Services for a hospital in Arizona. The ideal candidate will have strong hospital experience as a CEO, CNO, COO, CFO, or Director of Business Office, and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. The role will involve overall responsibility for Billing, collections, A/R, A/P, and customer relations, as well as supporting and mentoring staff and following the vision of the Total Healing Environment.

Requirements

• College degree BS or higher
• 5+ years of management level experience within the healthcare environment
• 5+ years of director level experience and knowledge in the areas of hospital revenue cycle, billing, collections or accounts receivable management
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proficiency with electronic spreadsheets and PC based applications
• Working knowledge of ERP systems
• Working knowledge of ad hoc reporting
