Job Description
Southwest Behavioral & Health Services is seeking a compassionate and supportive Recovery Support Specialist to help clients begin their journey to recovery. The role involves providing mentoring and support, assisting with skills training, case management, and non-clinical intervention. The ideal candidate will be able to customize support to meet the needs of individual clients and connect them with community resources.
Requirements
- 22 years of age
- High School diploma/GED
- 6 weeks (240 hours) of behavioral health experience
- Successful completion of a qualified Peer Support Training
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Fingerprint clearance issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or be eligible to receive within 8 weeks of hire
