Family Assessment Worker- Bilingual

Southwest Human Development is Arizona’s largest nonprofit dedicated to early childhood development. The organization offers over 40 programs and services to more than 140,000 children, and is seeking a Family Assessment Worker- Bilingual to promote child health and development, and support families through various programs and services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent + 3 yrs experience in social services
• Associates degree or higher in human services or related area
• Bilingual Spanish/English
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations
• Knowledge of family dynamics and community resources is preferred
• Attention to detail with the ability to perform assignments and job responsibilities efficiently, accurately, and on time
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows
• Valid US state driver’s license
• Insured & reliable vehicle and a valid AZ driver’s license
• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card - OR - must qualify for a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
• DES Criminal Affidavit Required
• AZ DHS Criminal History Affidavit Required
• FPC DPS Verification Required
