Accounting Manager

Nexus Water Group is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their Corporate Business Unit. This role involves managing the monthly close, financial reporting, leading a team, ensuring data integrity, and providing guidance on accounting policies. The company is a leading regulated water and wastewater utility serving multiple communities in the U.S. and Canada.

Requirements

• Manage the monthly close, including detailed review of team member work and journal entries.
• Participate in and direct the internal and external financial reporting process.
• Manage direct reports, establish goals, and monitor progress.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure data integrity.
• Perform technical accounting research and provide guidance.
